Water is a critical resource. About 60% of your body is made up of water, and without it, you can die within a few days.
There has been a frightening trend of water scarcity around the world, with recent droughts in California hitting closest to home.
With that in mind, the CDP-- an organization devoted to helping companies do business sustainably and providing public transparency of environmental practices-- asked over 1,000 publicly listed companies to disclose how they are mitigating their impact on water security.
Of those that responded, only eight were chosen for the A-List across all industry sectors. Two of these A-List companies were auto manufacturers-- Ford Motor Company, and Toyota.
